Beswick Elementary Summer Author Visit

It was an honor and privilege to be invited to Beswick Summer school for an author visit ! We had so much fun sharing our book and creative process with all the eager Summer writers ! A big thank you to the Amazing Amanda Heineman -Principal El. Summer school ELA/ELD curriculum support TK-5 and the “One And Only” Maggie Villegas-Director, Elementary Education (k-5). These two ladies whipped up the perfect ingredients for a successful Summer school program! ….. First start with a base of expertise in creating a highly effective and engaging curriculum for Readers & Writers . Next, one cup of Amanda’s amazing leadership serving as Principal, stir in heaping spoonfuls of an all-star cast of teachers, lastly, add the most important ingredient of all, LOVE ! Sprinkled generously throughout in a way that only Maggie can, and served in abundant helpings daily to 350 striving scholars at Beswick Summer school the entire month of July! Thank you for having The Magic Maple Tree out, and for creating positive change in our community♥️
