What an honor and privilege it was to come out to Tustin Ranch Elementary for an author visit to share our book and creative process! A HUGE thank you to Tustin Ranch El. Principal, the indomitable Kathi Denny, for having us out! Students enjoyed learning about our creative process through story boards, seeing our first draft “sloppy copy”, playing text detectives, learning about the power of your imagination through our academic toolbox, and witnessing how we took my daughters seedling idea and grew a book! I hope we inspired some young writers and illustrators as much as Mrs. Denny has inspired all of us!  ❤️
