We had the best author visit ever, sharing our book and creative process with the Orchard Hills Hawks @orchard_hills_school, thanks to @mrs_lawver , @amynjones928, @amy_lipps For making this possible! We received the warmest welcome from principal Mrs. Agopian , and rock star librarian Mrs._lawver, who created an over the top life size Magic Maple Tree for her library of over 1400 kids, where students were able to make text -self connections coloring donuts of their own and putting them on the tree! No detail was overlooked as Mrs. Lawver had ‘Rover’ our character dog from our book join us, and little details like TMMT label waters, and donuts that made the day magical for all who participated ! Thank you for having us out, sharing our love of books, and helping us inspire scholars to #read #write & #learn ❤️
